The SCDOT Associate Counsel Eminent Domain Workshop will provide guidance and information regarding the prosecution of eminent domain cases and related topics. Presentations will address right of way easements, motions in limine, updated federal regulation regarding relocation assistance, theory and practice of the Larger Parcel, handling ownership changes during condemnation litigation, recommended condemnation jury charges, condemnation discovery issues, property access issues and plans, and updated practice aids.
- This is an Advanced class in eminent domain litigation.
- Printed materials will be provided on-site.
- Attorneys are invited to register their Paralegals for this Workshop.
- Audience Participation is encouraged.
The Registration Fee is $100.00. Refreshments and Lunch will be provided.
For SCDOT participants, invitations will be issued by SCDOT administration only.
Ample Parking is available at the South Carolina State Museum.
Attendees receive free entrance to the Museum and a discount at the Cotton Mill Exchange Museum Store.

Payment Policy
UPDATED 2/15/23 – The Transportation Technology Transfer Service now accepts Electronic Check (ACH) payments in addition to credit card payments. While credit card payments are still the preferred payment method, you now have the Electronic Check (ACH) option. Your payment must be received within 5 business days of your registration. If your registration payment is not received by then, you will not be guaranteed registration for the conference.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your registration more than 72 hours before a class, your registration fee will be refunded, less a $35 processing fee. If you do not cancel before the 72 hour deadline your registration fee will not be refunded. You may send a substitute in your place, provided that you inform us of the substitute’s name no later than 24 hours before the training. No-shows will not have their registration fee refunded.
