Proper pipe installation is imperative to ensure that you have a functional and sustainable pipeline. Pipes that are not installed properly or get damaged during installation such that the pipe system is compromised can impact the longevity of the system.
This course will encompass pipe fundamentals for both rigid and flexible pipe, the structural design of reinforced concrete pipe, proper pipe installation, pipe inspection and evaluation and possible repair options for consideration. Trench-less technology (both jack and bore as well as micro-tunneling) as well as reinforced box culverts will also be discussed.
